I graduated from Dicle University, Faculty of Medicine in 1989. In 1994, I became specialist in Department of Dermatology at Dicle University. Between 1997 and 2011, I worked as a specialist doctor at Haydarpaşa Numune Training and Research Hospital. I became an associate professor in 2013. Between 2018-2020, I worked as a lecturer at Department of Dermatology Bahçeşehir University. I became a professor in 2020. Currently, I am the head of the Department of Dermatology at Istanbul Yeni Yuzyil University.

I have been working in my private clinic and conducting aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology studies since 2006. I received training in Turkey and abroad in order to enrich my knowledge and experience in the field of aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology. I have participated in experience sharing and advanced technical studies in several clinics especially in laser treatments, botox and filler applications in Italy, Slovenia, France, United States and Singapore.

I have original scientific studies on laser varicose and capillary treatment, laser spot treatment, laser non-surgical skin stretching, radiofrequency and focused ultrasound (HIFU) and wrinkle treatments. I have more than 150 book chapters, scientific articles and posters published in local and international journals in the field of Dermatology.

I have participated in several national and international congresses as, speaker, trainer and session chair. At Bahçeşehir University, I organized the Symposiums on Laser and Non-Laser Device Treatments-1 (March 2018) and Filler and Mesotherapy Applications in Cosmetic Dermatology (January 2019).

I was one of members of the board of directors for three terms at the Turkish Association Dermatology and Venereology (TÜRKDERM). I chaired the aesthetic and cosmetic dermatology working group at the Turkish Dermatology Association (TDD).

I worked in many social responsibility projects. I have bareboat skipper certificate and closely involved in sailing. I am married and mother of two children.
